We believe in finding commonground and engaging in civil discussion about com-munity issues important to each of us.3. We vow to respect all points of view and willstrive to provide a reasonable opportunity for allto express their views openlywithout attacks andantagonization. We agree to keep our discussionsfocused on the business issues at hand, as well as onthe ideas and desired outcomes.4. We urge all residents to be engaged andinformed. Get to know your neighbors, your boardmembers, and your community manager. Attendmeetings, join a committee, or serve on the board.Understand the communitys rules, regulations, andcovenants, and the value they add. Ask questions,share your opinions, and vote. 5. Theprinciples laid out in the document can serve asimportant guideposts for all those involved in ourcommunity: residents, guests, board and committeemembers, community association managers, staffmembers, business partners, and contractors.
