There are more than 74 millionpeople who live in Americas community associations.It is also important to know that CAI advocates forlegislation which protects community self-governanceand promotes civility. The state of Florida has a Florida LegislativeAlliance that consists of CAI members with differentareas of expertise. From attorneys, insurance agents,lenders, reservestudies, contractors,community man-agers and home-owners. There arerepresentatives fromall eight chapters inthe state. The chap-ters also support alobbyist who workswith the Alliance.CAI just cele-brated it's50thyear anniversary at the annual conference in Dallas.We congratulate our Florida Legislative ActionCommittee (FLA), who received the prestigious awardof Legislative Action Committee of the Year at theconference.With our ongoing membership growth andrenewals, and your continued support, we are able tokeep our chapter relevant, healthy and active.
